It was my birthday last week and I got some lovely Body Shop bits for presents. I also treated myself to a couple of things in the sale just after my birthday. Read on for my Body Shop Haul.
I love the Body Shop and I’m in the process of using my makeup up so that I can replace it with Body Shop makeup. They are a cruelty free brand and I’ve never really had a bad product from them.
I got the Drops of Youth Skin Care Collection for my birthday. With a RRP of £40.00 you get:
- Drops Of Youth™ Youth Concentrate 30ml
- Drops Of Youth™ Youth Cream 50ml
I use these once a day in the morning. I use the oil followed by the cream and then put my make up on over the top. My skin is smoother and brighter. It feels really refreshing on your skin and feels instantly moisturising. It has a lovely fresh smell as well.
I’ve been using the Strawberry Body Yoghurt every morning as I get out of the bath. This was another birthday present. Priced at £8.50 for 200ml it smells wonderful! It really takes me back to my childhood when I used to have their tiny strawberry shaped soaps!
It’s really lightweight and can go onto damp skin which can really save time after your shower. It dries incredibly quickly, absorbing into your skin without feeling heavy or sticky. The smell is really strong without being overpowering. My skin is feeling really smooth after using this every day. A little goes a long way as well. I will definitely be grabbing another pot when this one is empty.
The Satsuma Body Sorbet is another fab product. £8.50 for 200ml, it’s another really lightweight, fast absorbing moisturiser. It feels so nice on your skin and the citrus smell lasts all day.
Like the Body Yoghurt, the sorbet dries and absorbs really quickly as well. Perfect for when you went lovely, hydrated skin in a hurry.
I put my hair through a lot, it’s bleached and coloured on a very regular basis and I don’t take the best care of it. When I found the Coconut Oil Pre Shampoo, I was excited to try it. I use this around once a week. You massage it into your hair and scalp at least 5 minutes before you wash it and then simply wash it out. I’ve been leaving it in for about half an hour. It washes out very easily and doesn’t leave a residue in your hair which is really good. It’s pretty versatile and can be used as an overnight hair treatment or simply massage it into dry hair to give the ends some much needed TLC. This pre shampoo has massively improved the condition of my hair. Even my hair dresser was impressed with the condition recently.
Priced at £8.00 for 200ml it’s a real bargain. It smells phenomenal and has left my hair stronger, smoother and healthier.
Last up is the Green Tea and Lemon Body, Room and Linen Spritz. Costing £7.00 for 100ml, I’ve been using it to spray over the bed covers once I’ve made the bed in the morning.
It smells really fresh. I love citrus scents and this really freshens up my bedroom. The smell lasts and you get a lovely waft of it when you climb into bed at night as well. I will definitely be trying the other scents.
I really like all the bits I have picked up from the Body Shop and I will definitely be replacing all of these when they run out and I can’t wait to try some new scents!
