Miss Patisserie Haul

Before Christmas I was feeling a bit sorry for myself, so like all sensible people. I treated myself to a Miss Patisserie haul!

Miss Patisserie produce vegan and ethical bath and body products. I’ve been using the goodies I picked up for a little while now and they are all fabulous.

First up was a bath ball gift set. Great Balls of Fizz. Priced at £15.00 and containing 4 big bath balls.

Miss Patisserie bath balls are really lovely. They fizz beautifully, creating colourful swirly patterns in the water. They don’t tend to leave too much of a stain around the bath either which is always a bonus!

I’ve been really into skin care lately. I picked up a coconut body scrub from Boots (they stock the brand now) last year. It smelled amazing. The sugar scrubs are full of lovely skin softening ingredients such as jojoba oil and almond oil. They have really improved the bumpy skin on my arms and have left me feeling super soft! I decided to go for a Watermelon scented scrub to try out. Priced at £13.00 for 400g, a little goes a long way so they last a good long while.

I’ve been trying to moisturise my skin more as well in a vain hope to clutch the last of my remaining youth. I spotted a Peony & Pear body souffle. Priced at £7.00 for 200g. It contains sweet almond oil, rice brain oil and is designed to deeply moisturise the skin. Rice bran oil can also improve the skins elasticity. I’ve been using it after every bath and my skin is feeling and looking so much better. I’m not 100% sold on the fragrance but I would definitely get another tub.

I picked up a bag of bath crumble as well. The bath crumble is a bit like the bath time equivalent of a bag of broken biscuits. You pour a little bit into your bath, the crumble gives you a different fizzy, colourful bath each time. A little goes a long way and is a great alternative to your standard bath ball. A 400g costs £6.50.

The last thing I treated myself too was a bottle of face oil and a jade roller. It came in a little set (it was cheaper to buy the two together. Both are currently sold out). The oil contains goji berry extract and avocado oil which have skin firming and renewal properties. The jade roller is used to tone the skin and improve elasticity. Rolling the stone over your face aids lymphatic drainage and can help to reduce lines, plump skin and relieve blocked sinuses and congestion. miss-patisserie-face-oil-and-jade-roller

I find using the roller is really soothing, the stone is cold. It is really relaxing and I’ve been using this when I have a tension headache. It really makes me feel less tense, which can go a long way to easing the headache.

I love every single one of the treats I got from Miss Patisserie. I will definitely be treating myself again soon.

I’d never heard of this brand until now. The peony + pear souffle sounds lovely!

Your post makes me wish we had a bath at home so I could throw in a load of nice smelly things and just soak for a while.

I’m intrigued about that jade roller too, I bet it feels lovely rolling that over your face especially if you have a tension headache like you mentioned.

The jade roller is brilliant. It’s so calming lol. I love having a bath – I’ve not been able to have a shower since before my surgery in September so I kind of miss it lol.
