I signed up as soon as I was able, a stationery based subscription box? Yes please.
With box number two due out in the coming weeks, I thought I would tell you all about my first Papergang box.
The monthly subscription will cost you £9.95 with £1.95 for shipping costs (to the UK), I pay monthly, but you can pay for 3 months, costing you £29.00, 6 months for £56.00 or 12 months for £109.95. Personally, I think that a 3 month subscription is an ideally priced gift for someone you love.
So what was in the box?
My first thoughts on the box are the packaging, PAPERGANG in cut-out letters on the box is both simple and effective. I couldn’t wait to get this opened up. The outer packaging even hides an animal to cut out and construct. Genius.
The box contained 8 items (or 9 if you count both pencils!), a good mix of notebooks, cards and other bits and pieces.
Greeting cards range from £2.50 – £3.50 on the Ohh Deer website usually. Gift wrap can be picked up for £1.75 and notebooks range from £4.95 to £15.00. The cards are all blank inside, ideal for when you have forgotten a birthday (I mean.. not that I’d ever forget a birthday..) and need a handy card to send to someone. I’m thinking about framing the copper foil fox card and turning it into a print, it’s so pretty.
I flipping love the pencils, embossed with the phrases “I’m going to kick today’s ass” and “CBA to come to work today soz”. I’m already using one of the notebooks as it thin and lightweight and fits in a bag, taking up no space, without being so small you can’t write it in properly due to your giant man hands (..oh, just me then).
One of my favourite items in the box is my super special subscription iron on patch, featuring Drew the patron saint of the papergang.
Too cute right?
All in all, I was really pleased with this first box. I love subscription boxes and have tried a few, the Papergang box immediately caught my love for all things stationery and I can’t wait to see what is in box number two.
All the items are good quality and you certainly don’t feel like they have cheaped out on you. Ohh Deer and Papergang have certainly delivered.
