Earlier this week my lovely friend Stacey over at Unicornfairy wrote a post all about a subscription service she had discovered. You can read Stacey’s post here. As well as reading her post, we also talked about what she’d gotten in her box for March. I was very intrigued and planned to treat myself in April, I love a subscription box!
When I arrived home today, I discovered Stacey had sent me my very own TreatBox and it was lay behind my door waiting for me when I got in (as was one of the cats who promptly tried to trip me up!).
So if you don’t know already, TreatBox was set up by Zoe, a mum of two who started packing the very first boxes in her living room.
You can choose from a number of different options, you can subscribe monthly for £12.00 (£12.95 for a one off box). You can also choose to purchase either 3 months £36.00, or £70.00 for 6 months or £120.00 for 12 months. You can also build your own box, or build and gift someone a box for either 5 items at £13.96, 7 items at £16.95 or 10 items at £21.95.
The boxes are designed to fit through your letterbox too so no annoying having to go to your local Royal Mail depot to collect it from a surly postal worker.
My box was gifted to me by Stacey, who is completely wonderful and kind – she’s become a very good friend of mine.
The whole box was a joy to open from start to finish. Stacey had handpicked each item personally for me, which feels lovely. To know someone cares like that is fabulous.
The first item I unwrapped was a cute set of battery operated fairy lights. I’ve found the perfect place for them!
The look lovely in the back window in my Grandmas old giant sherry glass (I’m pretty sure it isn’t actually a giant sherry glass but that is what it looks like!).
There was a really cute little mermaid bracelet. I’m a big mermaid fan – I think I feel a bit of an afinity with mermaids because I have mermaid hair and my legs don’t really work that well – just like a fin wouldn’t!
There was a little unicorn card inside with a gift message from Stacey and other teeny card with a lovely quote on it.
I adore the rainbow patch and I’m currently trying to decide if I can get away with putting it on my work cardigan – I don’t think anyone would notice!
There was also a lovely magnetic bumble bee bookmark and a cute little lined notepad.
Last up is a lovely print that the cats were very excited about – I think they saw the word “biscuits” and thought they were going to be fed!
After seeing the contents of my gifted box, I am even more tempted to treat myself to a box or two (maybe even 3)! I love that Stacey took the time to pick each of these very lovely items especially for me. I’d like to thank her again for making my day and making me smile! TreatBox is a lovely idea!
