What I Wore in January

Considering that January was around 603 years long, I didn’t seem to wear anything particularly interesting or exciting. Today I am talking about what I wore in January.

January seems to have been a pretty colourful month for me. I attended the Lush Valentines Event and rocked some awesome pins and one of my favourite cardigan from Lazy Oaf. I went out for coffee with a friend one day as well, rocking another AMAZING cardigan from Lazy Oaf.

January was a good month for my pin game. Head to my Instagram page for details of where you can get them all from.

Neil got me a Cath Kidston jumper before Christmas. It’s covered in cats and it’s pink! I think it’s supposed to be like pyjamas or loungewear, but quite frankly Cath Kidston is too expensive nowadays to wear it too bed! I also got a t-shirt from La La Land UK, it’s like those too cool “Bonjour” tops you see but much more me!

Neil and I went out for dinner one night in January. We went to the Barbican Kitchen which was really nice. I wore a dinosaur shirt that came from Asos originally. I went to a meeting with my dad and wore a jumper with a faux shirt underneath to pretend I was smart! Originally from Primark, I used to have a few in different colours. It’s been pretty cold stuck in the house which meant lots of sweaters, including one from a Mercht Campaign from my favourite illustrator – Pearl Planet. I also wore a huge and cosy pink faux fur jumper. It’s got a big pocket on the front and is SO warm.

Stacey over at Simply Staceyย and her daughter Josie-Ann came to visit in January, we had a day out at the cinema. I wore a pastel pink jumper with lacey inserts along the bottom and around the collar. My amazing rainbow space cat (CATSTRONAUT if you will) is from the menswear department at Asos. I wore it to a hospital appointment and got lots of compliments on it! I got a pair of Lucy & Yak dungarees before Christmas and finally got around to wearing them last month. I’ve got a big love for dungarees. I always feel I look like a country potato in them but they are so comfortable and well made! Think I am totally going to treat myself to another pair when I’m back to work and getting paid again!

The endless rain that January seemed to have meant anytime I did leave the house I wore my big parka from Brave Soul. I saw a similar one on Boohoo with rainbow fur, but it was sold out!

hehe thanks! I often wonder if I should be transitioning to a more grown up wardrobe. but there is no fun in that!
