Candy Stop, Blackpool

Candy Stop, Blackpool is situated on Highfield Road in the South Shore area. Run and managed by Amy, they sell a huge variety of sweets including fabulous American candies.

Having recently changed their opening hours as well (visit their Facebook page for details) you now have even more chances to fill your pockets with sweets and chocolates!


There are so many different sweets to choose from and they are all a really good price. It’s a great pocket money treat for kids as well.

There is a good mix of traditional sweets that are guaranteed to make you feel nostalgic,  classic favourites such a sherbet lemons and pear drops. They also have a huge selection of American and modern candy. They even have a huge pick and mix section!

Most sweets are weighed and pre-bagged, but Amy and the staff at Candy Store can weigh out more if you want a bigger bag. Bags are packed up on a daily basis, including a range of penny sweet mixed bags – the contents of which vary every day!

If sweets aren’t your bag, (although, whats wrong with you if they arent??) they have a selection of chocolates, crisps, ice-cream and popcorn.

The popcorn comes in a range of flavours and is made fresh every day. They usually always have samples you can try the popcorn too! The ice cream flavours are really unusual and change on a regular basis. They also sell a selection of pocket money toys and drinks.

They also do Slush drinks in a range of flavours, they also offer a reusable cup costing £2.00 which you can then have refilled for 80p! One of Candy Stop’s biggest draws are the amazing sweet or chocolate bouquets they make. People come from all over Blackpool to buy these fabulous creations. Handmade to order by Amy which your choice of sweets or chocolates. They look amazing and a lot of love goes into them.

Candy Stop, Blackpool is a really lovely sweet shop, its light, airy and spacious. They have a huge selection, great prices and really friendly staff. It’s well worth a visit to get your sweet fix!

    I never venture over to the South side of Blackpool but now I’m gonna have to make a special trip 🙂 Candy Stop sounds & looks so awesome!! I am a big fan of traditional sweets so it just sounds like a little piece of heaven to me! Ooo yummy, they have so many kinds of ‘Millions’. I loved getting those from the shop on my way to high school :p

    The freshly-made popcorn sounds so good! And I love weird flavoured things 😀 so the ice-cream sounds very appealing too. This shop looks really cute and your photographs are fantastic! My favourite sweets are dolly mixture (mostly for the dewdrops), jelly beans & lemon bonbons, and old fashioned sweet shops are totally my thing! Wonderful post lovely x

      You should definitely go and visit them! They’d love to see you! I didn’t know there were so many different types of Millions lol. They’ve got them all! x
