I was nominated for the Liebster Award by the fabulously lovely and talented Stacey over at Unicornfairy.net.
Here are the questions I was asked by Stacey
Have you booked any upcoming holidays
We are booked to go to Blackpool in September, we go every year, we’ll see a bunch of my family while we are there. We are also away for a few days for a wedding in the summer.
What do you like doing in your spare time
It depends really, I go through phases. Last week I was knitting and this week I’ve been colouring. I’ve had ALOT of spare time on my hands recently and it is amazing how little I have achieved in that time.
I quite often like to read in my spare time but I read so quickly that I get through 8 or 9 books in a week, so I try to pace myself!
Your favourite soap
Weirdly, my favourite soap is carbolic. I love the smell of it, unfortunately, my husband hates the smell so we never buy it! I love the smell of Pears soap too, but Neil also dislikes that!
Cheese & Peanut butter every time! I also like to eat Wendsleydale cheese sandwiches dipped in tomato soup.
Hmm, that is a tough one. It often changes as I tend to sicken myself of meals by eating the same meal 100 times in a row. At the moment, I am really enjoying sweet potato mash. I also love chinese takeaway – probably why I’m so so chubby!
Last blog post
My last blog post was all about our visit to Le Bistrot Pierre, they do a fab gluten free menu and you can read all about it here.
Have you got a handy tip or life hack
Yes! Spray hair spray on your hair grip before you pop it in your hair and it will grip in your hair better.
A regular #hashtag or person you search or follow on Instagram
I don’t sleep well, so when I’m lay in bed at night staring at the ceiling, listening to Neil snore, I like to search Instagram – I use #tutorial and this brings up hair, makeup, nail, DIY, crafts, food and lots of other different short tutorials. I love it. Sometimes, you get some rather inappropriate results that I am very sure are not tutorials though..
If you could be a character (animation or real) who would you be and why
Ooh, I don’t know, I think I’d be Miss Marple, she has it made, she gets to go on holiday all the time, drink tea, knit and solve crime. What is not to love.
A childhood memory
The other week, we visited my best friend at the hospital, her baby has been unwell (he is much better and back home now though thank goodness), he was up on one of the children’s wards, this reminded me of being little and spending some time on a ward called Wildgoose. I can remember going to hospital school and learning all about the Titanic.
Something you want to try or do on your bucket list
I don’t think I have a bucket list, but if I did, going to Disney World would totally be on it.
