Lush Valentines Event

Last month, I attended the Lush Valentines Event. I’d attended the launch of their summer collection last year (read about that here) and had fun so even though my mobility isn’t great right now, I decided to go along when I got the invite.

There were lots of people there. Lush in Plymouth is not the biggest space so my current pain levels, combined with lots of people shot my anxiety levels through the roof. Hilariously, my heart rate averaged 152 bpm for the hour and a half or so I was there.

There were a couple of demonstration stations. I started with the new Valentines bath products. The new products include the gorgeous Love Boat, Rose Bombshell and an updated Tisty Tosty.

We watched as they made a gorgeous bath cocktail with some very rosey bits and pieces. Tisty Tosty comes with the promise of a love spell to discover who you should be married too. We were very kindly gifted it at the event. Personally, I cannot wait to find out if I should have married someone other than my husband!

I spent some time chatting to a guy about hair products. I treated myself to a tub go Hair Custard – a leave in conditioner that I am obsessed with. It smells beautiful and my hair smells like custard all the time – the smell stays between washes! I also treated myself to Dark Angel, an exfoliating charcoal cleanser. It’s one of their fresh products.

There was a station where you could get a lovely hand massage and a place to make a bath bomb. Sadly, they had run out of the moulds by the time I got around to it. As always, the staff were really friendly, knowledgable and welcoming. The other bloggers that were there were really lovely and friendly as well.

I had l nice time at the event. I couldn’t stay long because my ankle was hurting. Lugging around that big air cast is no picnic. Although it was nice to see so many people having fun, I think I preferred the Summer Collection launch, which was a bit more structured.

As always, the guys at Lush are wonderful. They organised a great event and I think everyone was having fun. I can’t wait to try out some of the Valentine’s products! Thanks for having me!

Lush events sound super fun! It’s so awesome that you still went along, even though you couldn’t stay long 🙂 The Hair Custard condition sounds really interesting; I love the smell of custard!! I didn’t try any of the Valentine’s products this year because I had to start saving up for my holiday, but I loved the look of the Love Boat bath bomb. I’m definitely going to look out for it again next year, I hope they have it x
