January has been the busiest month I’ve had in a while, with going back to work and twice weekly hydrotherapy I found myself out of the house more than I’d been in 4 months.
So here’s a look back at some of the outfits and accessories I’ve rocked through January.
Being back at work meant lots of smarter outfits, I’m really loving shirt and jumper combo’s at the moment. They look pretty smart for work and they are also a great way to show off my pin collection.
This amazing mermaid shirt came from Sugarhill Boutique where I am itching to go on a spending spree. They have a very lovely range of clothes in some fabulous prints including this fabulous floral anchor sweater. The jumper is a pink marl with embelished shoulders, it originally came from Very and is my go to jumper if I want to look a bit fancier but be warm at the same time. The pin was a Christmas gift from Neil, it’s from Punky Pins and is a hissing pink cat with “Stop Stressing Meowt” on it. Ideal for tough days at work!
Continuing with the shirt and jumper combos, I probably overdid this look during the month, but I don’t care!
This pink sleeveless cat shirt featured in a previous post about my cat themed outfits! It was from Asos and was still available on the website up to a few weeks ago. The jumper is very lightweight and has pug patches on the elbows! It is a very comfy jumper to wear and really easy to style up or down. It’s also from Asos. My pin “Cats Rule Everything Around Me” is another gem from Punky Pins.
The pug patch jumper had a second outing this month, this time with a tabby cat print shirt – another find from Asos. I also rocked this cute bunny print shirt from last season’s H & M, the navy spotty jumper is also a H&M find. I was feeling the mermaid vibes too with my Mermaid Society badge from Thrift Box – a very cool Etsy seller.
I finally made the effort with my nails this month for the first time in ages, I tried a few different nail art designs throughout January.

Hydrotherapy twice a week meant a more casual look some days. It is beneficial to have clothes that are easy to get on and off whilst also staying warm during the winter, especially when you are leaving the toasty temperatures of the hydrotherapy pool to the frosty outdoors.
My gold trainers light up and our by Wize and Ope, they were a present from my mum. You can buy a pair from Asos and they are currently on sale. My fabulous unicorn sweater came from Debenhams a few years ago, I spotted it on Gogglebox – the vicar was wearing it. I tweeted her to ask where she got it and she replied so I was able to get my own. My parka has a fabulous hot pink, faux fur lining and is by Brave Soul.
I braved the chilly mornings and wore a dress to work one day this month. I also rocked a very cool bobble hat by Katie Abey which meant I was questioned a number of times as to the truth of the statement on the hat. For the record, it is true, I do.
The dress is by Yumi and is covered in French Bulldogs. The cardigan is from Asos.
I have a bunch of faux shirt/jumper tops from Primark, I love them, really comfy to wear, a bargain to purchase and they wash really well. They are also fabulous for showing off your pin collection!

When I wasn’t working, I went for comfort and warmth. The My Little Pony jumper came from H & M a few years ago, ass some sweatpants and unicorn slippers and you have the perfect Sunday lounging outfit.
That’s a little outline of what I’ve been wearing this month. What are your go to outfits for this time of year? Get in touch below!
