Three On Thursday – 3 Cat Themed Outfits!

One thing you may not know about me is that I LOVE cats (who am I kidding? You only have to spend 10 seconds glancing at the cat fur I am covered in to know, 30 seconds in and I’m probably showing you cat photos on my phone), so for this weeks Three on Thursday what better way to celebrate my love of cats than through these 3 amazing cat themed outfits I have worn recently.

Outfit One

This cute dress came from Asos, it was on sale and is still available on the site in limited sizes.

The dress is by Yumi – I have a few Yumi dresses, I love their vintage style. It has little tiny cat faces all over it! The brown belt came with the dress.

I wore this knee length dress with black tights from Primark and my boots are from New Look – I have a lot of New Look boots, they do a good wide fit range.

I also went for a bit of sparkle with my sparkly heart brooch, which is from a Make-Your-Own kit (you can read about how I made it here).

I wore this cute cat dress to the theatre to see Let It Be (ooh, you can read my review of the show here). The dress itself is a good size – I got it in the 14 and it fits well, my only issue was the 3/4 length sleeves, they were elasticated and cut into my fat arms a little bit. I found myself adjusting them throughout the evening to make it a bit more comfortable.

I added a little burgandy cross-body bag and cardigan, both from Primark.

Outfit 2

My second outfit was worn on a Saturday – so pretty casual. We didn’t do anything exciting – just went shopping!

This cat print shirt came from H&M, it is no longer available to buy, I think I got this top maybe 18 months ago.

I wore this with some Gap Jeans and my ombre DC’s (which I adore, but have recently realised they are the same colour as my hair). The top has a cute, but impractical little pocket – literally bugger all fits in it. This top is a kind of weird material, like a thick rough cotton and it is cut slightly tight across the shoulders, meaning it rides up a little each time you raise your arms, other than that though I love this top. It is pretty casual with jeans but I have worn it to work with smart trousers and it works just as well.

Outfit 3

Last up is this fabulous tshirt from Asos (I love Asos, some of my awesomest clothes came from there). You can still buy this top as well – here. I wore this top with jeans from Gap, a striped vest from H&M and my trusty brown New Look boots (I swapped the boots out after I’d gotten dressed for my ankle boots, which were a bit more sturdy for walking in for the day).

The cat top is like a light wool material and is slightly shorter in length than I feel comfortable wearing alone (I like my chubby tummy to be all covered up), hence the striped vest. It is really comfortable to wear and was perfect for what turned out to be a breezy but sunny day. I added a burgundy cross body bag from Primark.

So there we go, three cat themed outfits! Which is your favourite? Do you have any cat themed clothes? Let me know below.

Haha! I adore the dress actually – it was smart without being too smart if you know what I mean and it’s elasticated at the waist so it is really flattering too! xxx
