What I Wore – April & May

It’s been a few months since I recapped my outfits. I’ve not felt like getting dressed that much lately so there hasn’t been much to share. I’ve been able to get out a little more lately so now I’m ready to share what I wore, April & May.

I finally got my stupid air cast off this month, so I was finally able to wear dresses without looking like a total plank.

My Mr Men dress was handmade by a lovely lady at The Happy Frock. It’s so lightweight, fits really nicely. It is very comfortable and I just adore the pattern on it. The blue mermaid dress is from Sugarhill Brighton, it’s mid length and is really summery. The Hungry Caterpillar dress is another hand made find. It’s from Interrobang Art. She makes the most glorious dresses and skirts in fabulous fabrics. This dress gives me all the nostalgic feels.

One of my recent finds has been Rock Paper Sisters. They have the most amazing selection of Disney and cult themed tshirts. I got a couple for my birthday recently, so look out for them on Instagram as well.

Of course I have been rocking pyjamas a lot, two stand out sets for me have been a onesie that I got from Asos and some David & Goliath dinosaur themed pyjamas that I bought just after I had my hip replaced the year before last. They were a little small and I’ve finally been able to get into them comfortably.

The onesie is so comfortable and it has pockets. It’s also quite flattering and hides my big tum!

I went out for dinner a couple of times recently, once with work colleagues to say goodbye to Vicki and once last week for my birthday. My skeleton dress was a total steal in a Boohoo sale and my jacket is from Geek La Chic, as is the awesome Powerpuff Girls dress. I felt pretty nice in it. My red floral dress was a gift from my mum from New Look from last year. Both dresses are so pretty but I felt so chubby in both of them. I have to work on my body image issues, they can be all consuming at times.

Some other favourites this month have been a cute pinafore dress from H & M. Fabulous cat shoes from Asos, that I wore on my birthday with Lucky & Yak dungarees. I also went out with my mum and dad for my mums birthday where I wore a cute top from Matalan with my Wear A Rainbow hoop earrings.

Last up is a cute vest I got last year from Killstar. I love it because it includes two of my favourite things – cats and swearing!

I’m back to work soon so hopefully I will be able to recap my wardrobe on a regular basis. Especially as I can’t wear pyjamas to work!

Love all of your outfits! The hungry caterpillar really suits you especially. Also love your hair braided. Glad you finally have your cast off and can wear both your shoes again xx

Oh my gosh, I adore that Very Hungry Caterpillar dress so much!! It’s super cute and so nostalgic, it also looks perfect for Spring/Summertime. I neeeeed some of those David & Goliath dinosaur PJ’s, they’re awesome!

Your sequin jacket from Geek La Chic is so eye-catching and pretty, and goes so well with that fantastic skeleton dress 🙂 Cats & Swearing are definitely two of my favourite things too- that Killstar vest is brilliant! XD
