What I Wore – July

July was a fun month for me, Neil and I had a few days away and I got to meet my best friend Stacey (Unicorn Fairy).

When we visited Stacey we went out for dinner with her and her lovely husband, I wore a New Look dress that my mum got me when we were in Manchester. It’s a gorgeous dress, it fits really nicely and it’s shape means it skims over my big tummy. Perfect. It’s one of those Bardot necklines though and I felt like I had to keep pulling the shoulders down. I wore it with black tights and chunky boots (obviously) but it would also be good as a summer dress with cute sandals – if you don’t have my gross Tots TV legs obviously!

As a special treat I’m also showing off a few of Neil’s outfits – I got him some tshirts for his birthday from an amazing German store – Junique, they do the most amazing and hilarious tshirts, jumpers, vests etc. for men and women along with art and homewares.

I’ve jazzed up outfits this month with an array of pins. I do love a pin, they can really add to an outfit and have often been a good conversation starter! From L – R, the flamingo rubber ring is from Pin Club, the amazing Bob Ross pin is from Punky Pins and the cat pin is from a Kickstarter by Niaski and is part of her cat artists series – Vincat Van Gogh, next is a sparkly, mermaid heart from Sparkle Happy Mama and last along is from another Kickstarter by Box Monster.

Last month I picked up a couple of gorgeous items from Geek La Chic (who also featured in June’s What I Wore) – the most beautiful things are sold in this wonderful online store and I urge you to check it out! The sequin jacket is one of my new favourite things and I am dying for an excuse to wear it. It changes colour from blue to purple to green and if you brush the sequins over you can make it black!! I’ve also had lots of compliments on my super cute Buttercup bag!

Another favourite of mine at the moment is Soft Kitty Clothing – they sell lots of very cool film, tv, band merchandise along with lots of other cute bits and pieces.

I was very brave earlier in the month and wore a dress with nude tights, I couldn’t go bare legged, I’m not THAT brave! This amazing My Little Pony Dress came from EMP Clothing last year and I only just got around to wearing it. It’s a fun skater style dress. I paired with a very eye catching, oversized blue bow hairband and another Punky Pins pin!

I have gotten back into nail art this month as well – head to my Instagram for more details.

Other outfits this month include a very cute little striped, heart pocket tee that came from TK Maxx, my grandma’s cardigan, some super cute polka dot tights from H&M, Pusheen pyjamas – the top from Primark and bottoms are from H&M, my amazing new converse trainers were a gift from Neil, super casual Sunday outfit from Asos (Care Bear Boots from Iron Fist), jeans from Gap and trainers by DC Shoes – sadly now in the bin as they are so old and broken!

So there we go, that’s what I wore while I lived my life in July. Thoughts? Get in touch below.

I absolutely love your style! I really really want that My Little Pony dress that you got from EMP! It’s sooooo cute! Also lovin’ the buttercup bag, she was always my favourite of the Powerpuff Girls 🙂 Really like the pusheen tee with the little pusheen sitting in the pocket, too cute! Also really like those polka dot tights too.

All of your pins give me serious pin envy everytime I see you share a photo of them on your IG! You have such lovely ones 🙂 I think my favourite on this post is the ‘selectively social’ cat pin <3 x
