I have A LOT of hair, it’s thick and heavy and there is a masses of it. Finding hair accessories that will hold and tame it can be tricky. When I was offered the chance to review the Linziclip, I was very keen to give them a go and see if they would work in my hair!

Linziclip was created by Lindsey Walker & Shelley-Anne Salisbury to overcome all the problems with the old style claw clip. If you regularly use claw style clips you probably know that the teeth can snag on your scalp. Trying to try sit and lean your head back, the butterfly style wings are uncomfortable. The Linziclip was designed to overcome these issues.

The clips are very sleek looking, they have hidden springs set in the inside of the clips and have a flat back. The teeth are flat too so they sort of wrap around your hair to provide hold rather than digging into it.

I was sent a lovely box of Linziclips in 3 different sizes in various colours.

I tried them out over a few weeks in a couple of different hairstyles. Using the smallest clips to just clip back small sections of my hair. The medium ones were perfect for the half up/down styles and the largest I used to clip all my hair back together.

I have really long nails, so the small ones took me a couple of goes to hold them in a good position in order to get them into my hair. I definitely feel that this is my issue though and not a design fault! It was easy to create different styles.

The medium ones are probably my favourite, they were a great size to grab, chuck your hair up, clip and go.

The largest clip can clip all my hair up together, I don’t often wear my hair like that, but it made a nice change and was easy to use. I used it a lot in the evenings. After a long day at work, it was perfect to pull all my hair up and off my neck.

All of the clips sat comfortably in my hair all day. I didn’t have to adjust them or re clip my hair at all throughout the day. In a car on the way to work, I was able to put my head comfortably back on the headrest without the clip digging into my head. The clips are really easy to pull out of your hair and redo or change up your hairstyle. They are super versatile as well. Ideal for lazy days when you don’t want to or don’t have time to wash and style your hair!

I would definitely recommend these clips, I can also confirm that they hold up well in my huge hair! You can buy the clips on their website (here) and they come in tonnes of different colours!

I was sent a box of Linziclip’s to try in exchange for a fair and honest review. I would like to thank them for gifting me this product. Don’t forget to follow them on Twitter and Instagram for tonnes of hair style inspiration!
